The issue with changing the size of the crosshairs is that the size of the crosshair is mean to give an idea for the bullet spread. For example; Halo: CE's shotgun crosshair is a large circle. This shows the shotgun pellet spread pattern. There are mods for half-life 2 that change the color of the crosshairs. #1.
