Sparda is the overarching protagonist of the Devil May Cry franchise. He is the father of Dante and Vergil, and the grandfather of Nero. The Sparda is actually STRONGER than Devil Sword Dante. Specifically, all the transformation moves deal more damage, like Stinger, High Time, Prop Shredder etc. as well as a couple normal moves. That only move that is a bit stronger with Demon Sword Dante is Dance Macabre. everything else Sparda is either equally as strong or stronger.
