Sparda is the overarching protagonist of the Devil May Cry franchise. He is the father of Dante and Vergil, and the grandfather of Nero. He was a mighty demon under the command of Mundus, until he rebelled against his forces of Hell in favor of fighting for humanity. The Sparda is actually STRONGER than Devil Sword Dante. Specifically, all the transformation moves deal more damage, like Stinger, High Time, Prop Shredder etc. as well as a couple normal moves.
