It is bad. zombies hit you without even playing an attack animation. dead rising has never been known for great combat, and this game has managed to make it even worse. if you are interested in this game, just buy dead rising 2 instead. its better, by a lot. Dead Rising 4 is for low skill casuals.

LWRabbit Sep 17, 2016 @ 4:04pm. I'm not sure of the exact record, but there is a hard limit on the time you can survive without cheating. Your health slowly depletes in Infinite Mode, and you must eat food to replenish it. And food does NOT respawn in Infinite Mode.
Combat can still get hairy and dying will set you back, but the ability to save anywhere and a gracious autosave system keeps Dead Rising 4 from having that classic horror game fear of "oh god
Once you are done, (DONT QUIT, BEAT THE GAME AND GET THE ACHIEVEMENT OR YOU WONT GET THE REAL MEGA BUSTER) go back to the helipad (upstairs in the safe room) and wait till the chopper comes to pick you up (day 22, 12pm in-game time) or save some survivors for massive xp, or keep killing zombies. 10.-.
